Can you imagine our world enveloped in darkness and an eerie silence? No radio, television, empty factories, and no giant industries. That's our world without Nikola Tesla in it. Nikola Tesla was born in a small village in the Austrian Empire to a priest and a housewife, he often accredited his eidetic memory and creative ability to her influence. He was passionate about physics with a dream to one day harness the power of the Niagara Falls. Through a combination of hard work, perseverance, and innovation Nikola Tesla electrified the world.

Nikola Tesla lived and died for his passion, he was one of the most hard-working people all time.

Tesla never married choosing to devote his whole being to his scientific endeavors believing that starting a relationship may be distracting to his work. Tesla has more than 300 patents to his name in 26 countries, most are in Britain, US, and Canada, the number of patents is a clear indicator of how hard he worked in his lab day after day not taking any breaks and ignoring sleep.

At the end of his life, he still kept working he wouldn't let age, lack of funds, and loneliness stop him.

One of Nikola Tesla's defining traits was his perseverance and never give up attitude, Tesla's first big job was working at Edison's company there he was given a task of improving 24 machines with the promise of raised salary and 50,000 bonus pay but he was cheated out of his payment and lost his job in the whole fiasco, but that didn't stop him he just went and founded his own company.

In his company starting days his lab caught fire which collapsed the building setting his ongoing projects back and burning his notes and research materials, but Tesla didn't let it hold him back and rebuilt his lab somewhere else and continued working. After inventing the alternating current (AC) which was in direct competition to the big names in the electric field that used direct current (DC) Tesla had to endure a slander campaign with Edison his former employer claiming that the AC current was unsafe and that the DC current is better which led him to not having enough cash or resources to develop it further but he kept persisting and was the winner of what was dubbed the "war of the currents".

Tesla was often referred to as the wizard due to his innovativeness and his inventions which were often ahead of his time. His major invention is the alternating current which revolutionized the power system at the time and is still the basis for many electrical appliances and is used to this day for electric dams, motors, the radio, radars, X-rays, and many more. He invented the first remote-controlled boat at a time when only a few people were aware that radio even existed he controlled the boat on a pool of water and was able to control its light some people called it magic. Tesla also built the Wardenclyffe tower to act as a system of remote transmission and was able to send the letter 'S' from England to Newfoundland. Tesla came from a poor family of 7, and with creativity, dedication, and force of will overcame every adversity standing in his way to achieving his childhood dream of harnessing power generated by the Niagara Falls, and along the way, he becomes one of history's most respected scientists. Most of us can stand to learn a thing or two from such an amazing man.
