I am glad to see you all gathered here, to be a part of Christmas celebrations of .... We read in the Gospel of St.John Chapter 3 verse 16, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life”. Today, we all are here to celebrate the birth of God’s begotten son-“ Jesus Christ” . It is the time to cherish peace, mercy, love and faith. It is a time, to celebrate the coming of a new year ,with new hopes and prayers.

So, let us join in the celebration as our little ones put up the Christmas programme. We start our programme with the carol, “O Come, all ye faithful,” It is a call to come and adore the King of kings,Lord of Lord’s. May I now, request our principal, Sr. to welcome the gathering . Thank you Sister.

Let’s dance and sing, and make good cheer,
For Christmas comes but once a year….

So now we have a dance –“our expression of Joy”..Let’s join our children as they rejoice in praising the Lord. It was indeed a lovely performance a blend of divine music and energetic footsteps. Let’s give them a big round of applause. Children are all waiting for the arrival of Santa so let’s hear a carol by our choir which shows their excitement.

Christmas is a time for sharing .The fun and frolic, the presents, the decorations are the expressions of the true Joy of Christmas. We would like to share our joy with all of you, by organizing a lucky draw. * We have the names of all the children of our school in this bowl. * We will then pick out five names from this and they will be the winners of this lucky draw. * I request one person from the family of that child to come upon stage and introduce theirselves. * The lucky ones would then get a gift from Santa Claus when he comes. I request one of you to please come forward to pick up the lot. (Call out names)

Thank you…So let’s put our hands together for these lucky people Our little ones now present a skit before you-“Don’t Miss Jesus” The skit spreads the message of goodwill, love & hope in our hearts. Let us all try our level best to be like “Martin”.

Now we have the choir singing Deck the Halls which shows the spirit of the season. We are all excited decorating our house and our children too are excited to decorate their Christmas tree. Let’s join them as they dance around the tree. Please give them a good round of applause. It is indeed a pleasure to see our children dance. Nativity is a depiction of the birth of Jesus as described in the gospels. It depicts the Christmas story, in which Joseph and Mary, travel to Bethlehem, where Jesus is born and laid in a manger. Angels proclaim him a savior for all people, and shepherds come to adore him. In Matthew, wise men follow a star to Bethlehem to bring gifts to Jesus, born the King of the Jews. Now they would like to render few carols for us.

Lets hear it up for all of them.
