Birth control Essays

Birth control Essay Examples: 25 Topics Ideas

Since the beginnings of civilization, people have used contraception to prevent pregnancy. Access to effective contraceptives is key to women well-being and autonomy – family planning reduces women health risks, decreases infant mortality, reduces the incidence of abortion, and slows population growth.  Family planning allows people to attain their desired number of children and determine the spacing of pregnancies. It is achieved through the use of contraceptive methods and the treatment of infertility (this fact sheet focuses on contraception).

The ability of women to control their own fertility is essential to their health and empowerment. Promotion of family planning – and ensuring access to preferred contraceptive methods for women and couples – is essential to securing the well-being and autonomy of women, while supporting the health and development of communities.

Contemporary contraception is quite well developed and is constantly replenished with new scientific advances. Contraception can be of the following types: permanent, temporary, mechanical or emergency. Each of these methods has both advantages and disadvantages; some methods are more reliable in preventing pregnancy than others.

France is the number one country for access to contraception in Europe. It is also the country with the highest birth rate on the continent.   So, there is too much information to focus on. Thus there are plenty of ideas to write good essay topics according to different facets. The following list contains some examples that can be useful for you:
