It then dissolves into the future, man is losing controll of his tools in space. Now, man has to learn how to walk again and eats baby food. The master of the earth is a child in space. Suddenly mans tools are taking human form and Discoverys brain, Hal 9000 Computer askes, what are humans for? He looks at them, bored, boring, eating t.

v. dinners.

He thinks humans are matinance men at the end of their evolution. Hal then decides he dosent need humans anymore. He lies to the crew and says there is a problem with the antenna. This scene where the man was locked out of the ship lasted for 3 minites in the film. The same shot of the man floating helplessly in outerspace, and the only sound was the breathing, which resembled that man is like a fish out of water.
