Type of ownership
John Lewis Partnership’s seven principles define how we run our business. They are as relevant today as they were when they were set out by our founder, John Spedan Lewis, in our constitution. Zebs is owned by one person which is called a sole trader as they run the business by themselves and don’t count on other people
The Partnership’s ultimate purpose is the happiness of all its members, through their worthwhile and satisfying employment in a successful business because the Partnership is owned in trust for its members, they share the responsibilities of ownership as well as its rewards profit, knowledge and power. Also they want to expand on the market. Zebs purpose is being the best corner shop store to get all the mandatory equipment you would get from and super store.
To make profit.
Zebs purpose of Zeb’s is that they sell groceries like vegetables and alcohol. Similarities and differences between the two businesses
John Lewis aims and objectives are similar as they both need to make profit and get good customer satisfaction and they sell a variety of products.
Zebs are different as John Lewis is owned by many people that own the business and Zebs is just one store. John Lewis is a worldwide and it has a bigger store.
Zebs is a business that sells goods & a bit of Super market goods & their aims are like John Lewis their aims are to make profit and become a professional business
