Music has been one of the fundamental building blocks for the world for many years. Most generally wonder how this art started. It is not really known where in history music introduced itself into the life of the individual. Nowadays, young musicians begin exploring the world of music at the elementary level. The main question people ask now is, “What is the importance of music education in school? ” Music Education has effect on the way students view the core subjects in school, History, Mathematics, Secondary Language, and Literature, while teaching many life lessons within the school setting.

With the economic decline contiunuing many schools will also continue to wipe there music programs right out from under the students’ nose.
If a majority of faculty members, students, and parents band together for this cause it will prevent the further extinction of music programs for other schools that still have a chance.
