We go on everyday lighting our faces up with the most natural expression ever – smiling. Smiling is beautiful, fun, and brightens not only our faces, but our mood. Smiling does a lot more than only letting everyone around you know that you’re happy, it boosts your health. Smiling is beneficial for us; it boosts our mood, health, and appearance. Smiling and laughing go hand in hand; when you smile or laugh you release chemicals that boost your mood. Smiling releases the neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine which are linked to depression when we have too little.
When we smile or laugh we experience an increase of endorphins and a reduction of stress related hormones: cortisol or adrenaline. Endorphins are hormones that counter and destroy these stress hormones. As you can see in the photo, this girl seems to be in a great mood with her genuine smile. People spend a lot of money trying to become healthy. We have to try supplements, dieting, and healthcare to be healthy. Although, there is one free thing that could boost your health – smiling. Smiling slows the heart and relaxes the body, it calms you down.
If you are releasing endorphins and not as stressed, you will have a relaxed body. You can tell in the photo that the girl has a very relaxed body smiling. Along with the relaxed body is your immune system. Smiling boosts the potential in your immune system, mostly because you are relaxed. It is healthy to smile; the girl in the image looks healthy. Not only does smiling boost your immune system and lowers your heart rate; it also lowers your blood pressure. The University of Kansas studied the effects of smiling and blood pressure.
They discovered that those who were smiling had a lower blood pressure than those who were not smiling. So smile because it is healthy for you. Last but not least, smiling helps longevity and looks. As you can see in the photo, the girl looks appealing and nice as she smiles. Smiling makes you seem more approachable and nice. When you smile it makes you look younger. When you smile the muscles you use to smile lifts your face, so if you smile it will make you look younger and even feel better.
As you can see in the photo the girl seems to be approachable and happy. Overall you can see that smiling has amazing benefits to your mental and physical body. It can change your mood to helping your body stay in shape and healthy. Smiling is an amazing thing that can not only affect you, but others around you. Smiling is a great way to make someone stand out and help yourself feel better. Our face is even brighter with a smile stuck on top of it. In conclusion, Smiling is beneficial for us because it boosts our mood, health, and appearance.
