Should Parents Be Punished for Smoking at Home? Essay

Punishment is the reliable imposition of something negative or unpleasant on a person in response to behavior considered wrong by an individual or group. Parents should be punished for smoking at home. Smoking causes effects on human health, it causes harm to children and it particularly damaging in young people. Parents should be punished for smoking Cigarette because cigarettes contain about 4,000 different chemicals which can damage the cells and systems of the human body. These include at least 80 chemicals that can cause cancer (including tar, arsenic, benzene, cadmium and formaldehyde) nicotine (a highly addictive chemical which hooks a smoker into their habit) and hundreds of other poisons such as cyanide, carbon monoxide and ammonia.
