Tennessee Williams’ symbolism play The Glass Menagerie depicts a fragile world which has been constructed on the illusions, weaknesses, and fascinations of the characters. The play’s title itself has a revealing nature: The ornate glass collection represents the play’s characters’ fragility and escape into an imaginary and illusionary world.
