Up to 30 scholarships will be made available to Malaysians for the 2014/15 intake, making Malaysia, once again, among the top five countries to award the largest number of Chevening scholarships in the world. This is possible through the generosity of BAE Systems who will, again, be sponsoring awards in the fields of Engineering, Sciences and Cyber Security; the Prudence Foundation who will be sponsoring awards in the fields of Business & Islamic Finance and Media & Communications, and the Cambridge and Commonwealth Trust will be offering awards for study in the University of Cambridge.
The University of Edinburgh, University of Westminster, Cranfield University and Kings College will also be sponsoring awards for study at their respective institutions. Simon Featherstone, the British High Commissioner to Malaysia said: “The Chevening Scholarships programme has always been a unique platform for future leaders to excel in their chosen disciplines at British universities which rank among the best in the world.
